Application Checklist
- Complete Application: Complete your application at redeemer.ca/apply/graduate. There is a $90 application fee.
- Identify References: Provide the names and contact information of one professional or academic reference, and one personal reference. Referees will be asked to fill in an online reference form on the applicant’s behalf.
- Submit a Statement of Intent: Express in 800-1000 words how your participation in your chosen master’s program may meet your goals for personal and/or professional growth, including participation in a Reformed Christian learning environment, as well as sharing the research questions you intend to explore in the program.
- Submit Transcripts: Request and submit up-to-date and official transcripts from your post-secondary institution(s). Transcripts must come directly from the institution to Redeemer by fax, mail or email (gradadmissions@redeemer.ca).
English Language Requirements
Students must demonstrate proficiency in English as outlined in the Academic Calendar: All students are required to be proficient in the English language. Students are required to hold a degree from an accredited English medium university in an English-speaking country, with a minimum of two years of full-time study at that university. Students who hold a degree outside of this requirement need to complete an English proficiency test:
- TOEFL test score of 100 (iBT) – see page 16 of our academic calendar for a detailed scoring breakdown
- IELTS band score of 7.0
- CAEL test score of 70
